An exercise in trying to explore the abstract realm. Almost all my painting experience pertains to realistic rendering (I have no formal training), so trying my hand at some abstract approaches demands that I rewire my artistic mind/eye. A strange, strange process that can be frustrating at times, but overall I'm enjoying the adventure. Sort of like learning how to draw upside down or with your other hand... But all the great abstract art here at dA is providing plenty of inspiration.
